Isaac Ketu
Isaac Ketu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the ARUA/Carnegie-Mastercard Early Career Research Fellowship based in the Centre of Excellence for Climate and Development (ARUA-CD) at ACDI, University of Cape Town. His research focuses on how households’ poverty-driven vulnerability shapes their willingness to support clean energy transition policies that may increase their cost of living.
Before joining UCT, Isaac completed his PhD in Economics in December 2024 where he focused on how infrastructure development can be leverage to foster structural transformation in African countries. During his stay in Cameroon, he collaborated as a Research Associate with the Centre for Studies and Research in Economics and Management, University of Dschang. He has authored and co-authored several research papers, published in leading peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at several international conferences.
