Temitope Fafure

Temitope Sunday Fafure is a PhD candidate in Environmental and Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town, based at the African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI). His research examines heat extremes across Africa under temperature overshoot and stratospheric aerosol injection, with interests in population exposure and implications for labour productivity. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Meteorology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. His master’s research explored the effects of urbanisation on outdoor thermal comfort in Ogun State, Nigeria.
