Sarah Odera

PhD candidate

Sarah Odera is PhD candidate working on the intersection of energy justice and energy planning. Through her research she is exploring methods that can be used to make energy planning more human centred

Sarah is also a research fellow in Strathmore University’s Energy Research Centre where she has worked for the past seven years. Her work in the centre has focused on fund raising, strategy development and implementation of projects cutting across capacity building and research. In this capacity she led several initiatives including the development of a Master’s program titled Sustainable Energy Transitions. She also led the departments arm that support’s sub-national governments in the development of their energy plans.
