Southern African Adaptation Colloquium

Rationale and Purpose
The inaugural Southern African Adaptation Colloquium will bring together researchers and practitioners working on climate adaptation across southern Africa. The Colloquium aims to:
       • Facilitate greater interaction between adaptation researchers and practitioners;
       • “Update” practitioners on the latest ideas emerging from the research domains;
       • Inform researchers about on-the-ground projects, so as to better appreciate the challenges and research needs of practitioners.

Format
A mix of keynote speakers providing thought provoking and challenging views on particular topics, oral presentations, discussion sessions and workshops.

Cost
Registration for the Colloquium is free, and lunches will be provided. Participants/attendees will need to finance their own transport and accommodation.
