Zakiya Abrahams

Zakiya started as an intern with the ACDI in June 2018 and will be assisting Dr Nadine Menther on her Water-Food-Energy Nexus project as well as the Socio-Economic Benefits of Ecological Infrastructure project until November. She also supports the Training & Capacity Development Portfolio when needed.

Zakiya has her Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Geographical Science and Archaeology from the University of Cape Town. Her interests include ecosystem-based management and adaptation, environmental justice, sustainable development and environmental policy.
