Michelle Blanckenberg

Dr Michelle Blanckenberg joined ACDI in 2021 and leads the institute's communications and engagement activities. She completed her PhD in Conservation Biology at the University of Cape Town in 2021, following a MSc in Conservation Biology. With a strong foundation in conservation, Michelle has spent the past several years as a communications officer in the climate change field. Her passion for knowledge and education drives her to bridge the gap between scientific research and public engagement, making complex environmental issues more accessible to diverse audiences.
