Fundisiwe Malinga

Fundisiwe joined the ACDI in 2024 as a Programme Administrative Assistant to primarily support the research operations function of the Climate Risk Lab. With a strong background in Research Administration and Process Management Systems pre- and post-award,  expertise lies in effectively administering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maximizing efficiency in all aspects of the research cycle. Research contributions have been involvement in core research activities and providing research management support for projects and grant-raising initiatives in areas of Climate, Land, Agro-Food Systems Thinking and Socio-Economic Dynamics of Innovation. Other interests and experience include science communication, business development, capacity building and strategic partnerships support. She holds a Master of Sciences degree from Stellenbosch University and continues to seek opportunities to advance herself in the research enterprise and intelligence space.
