Eunice Boruru
Dr. Eunice Boruru is a trained Development Sociologist and faculty member at the University of Nairobi's Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA), with over 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Her expertise lies in climate change adaptation, social policy, social inclusion including gender, livelihoods, food security and community engagement and development. Dr. Boruru is well trained in transdisciplinary research and participatory methods having conducted extensive applied research on climate change issues across communities in Kenya and East Africa. She has contributed to numerous national and international projects, including Green Economy with GIZ and UNEP, climate change and conflicts and migration in Turkana and Samburu where she has served key roles as a Sociologist, Gender and Livelihood Expert. Her work bridges academia, policy, and practice in advancing climate resilience and social inclusion in Kenya and Africa.
