Rodgers Kawooya

ACDI Masters Student

Rodgers Kawooya is currently pursuing an MPhil in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the University of Cape Town. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Education (Geography Major) at Makerere University in 2022. Rodgers Kawooya has a working experience of about 3 years in Education as a Geography Teacher; and in Research fields as a research assistant.  In his research endeavors, he contributed significantly to the production of a dissertation titled “Assessing the Impact of Soil Erosion Processes on Community Livelihoods in Bukinda Sub County, Rukiga District, Western Uganda.” His research interest is in climate change mitigation, particularly focusing on Green Energy, Socio-technical transitions, and the social acceptance of new technologies and innovations in Green energy.
