Join us to hear the findings of the Department of Environmental Affairs and the National Treasury commissioned technical study to explore different ways in which South Africa’s carbon tax and carbon budget might be integrated in the post-2020 period.

The Emily Tyler is currently a UCT EBE PhD student, exploring a complexity science frame for South African domestic climate mitigation policy.  She was part of the consortium that prepared this report last year.

The Vivid/DNA Economics consortium was contracted under the auspices of the Partnership for Market Readiness (PMR), World Bank to conduct the study.
