The African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) and the South African Faith Communities' Environment Institute (SAFCEI) invite you to listen to Charles Eisenstein, author of the book Sacred Economics, speak at an open lecture at the John Day Lecture Theatre on September 4th. Eisenstein will discuss a transformation (instead of a revolution) of our current economic system into what he refers to in his book as a just, inclusive, personal, bond-creating, sustainable, and non-accumulative system. He believes a key part of this transformation is our understanding that we are an integral part of the web of life, and human well-being relies on the well-being of the planet. Visit Charles Eisenstein's website for more information and kindly RSVP with SAFCEI at zainab@safcei.org.za before August 26th.
