Navigating uncertainty and discomfort out on theClimate Frontier

Peter Willis, like all of us, has taken up a position somewhere out on the frontier of climate defence. In all frontier work there is a sense of excitement, of noble cause and also a lot of discomfort. In this first hour of conversation, we will enquire as deeply as we may into our hopes and fears for our work and how we think about effectiveness and we will peer over the cliff-edge of uncertainty into the tricksy, (what often feels like) echoing Kloof of failure.

This is intended as the first episode in a two-part thriller, both to be co-authored and realised by you, in collaboration with Peter, who will lead and facilitate.

More about Peter:

With apparently endlessly renewable curiosity and wit, Peter has worked within the South African sustainability, development and leadership arenas, for two decades. In early 2014, after 12 happy years running the South African office of the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership (CPSL), and leading on the Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme for senior executives, Peter chose to expand his Sustainable Development contribution with a range of strategic leadership consultancy services. Peter has a Masters in Modern History (St Catherine’s College, Oxford) and through his work, has gathered much practical insight into how we humans navigate (or try to resist!) change and transition, over the years.
