Khothatso Mokhele

PhD student

Khothatso holds a Masters degree in Energy and Sustainable Development from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Before that, focusing on Risk and Foreign Direct Investment flows in South Africa, she completed a Masters degree from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in Political Sciences. Her PhD focuses on the water-energy-food nexus by improving understanding of the nexus interactions in South Africa and further highlighting the viability of chosen adaptation programs. She enjoys research that studies humans as economic agents and the implications of their interactions with their surrounding natural environment. Khothatso is an avid golfer, loves taking nature walks, and has a predilection for dancing.
