Claire Gomes

Claire Gomes is an actuarial analyst with a deep-seated passion for making a meaningful impact through her work. She obtained a BBusSci degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town in 2020 and subsequently went on to work as a consultant at Percept Collaborative Advisory. Claire has worked in and applied her skills to a wide range of fields, such as Early Childhood Development, Human Resources for Health, Insurance and Hospital Analytics. Her research interests lie in the fields of sustainable investments, agroforestry, and climate modelling. Her innate curiosity, coupled with her aspiration to make a positive impact moves her to be deeply invested in the complex issue of climate change.
