Osariemen Irabor Omoruyi-Aigbovo

Osariemen lrabor Omoruyi-Aigbovo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance University of Benin, Nigeria and currently on a post-doctoral research fellowship at the African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) based at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, under the Africa Research Universities Alliance (ARUA-CD).

She holds a PhD and MSc in Finance from University of Benin, and a B.sc in Business Administration from Bowen University. Her academic and research work focuses on insurance, financial risk modeling, Carbon Emission, Climate and sustainability. Notable publication is on Carbon Footprint and performance of quoted insurance firms in Sub-Saharan African countries. Her research work supports interdisciplinary collaboration and capacity strengthening initiatives aimed at enhancing research impact and promoting inclusive, sustainable development across Africa.
