Two new masters programmes launched through TEA-LP!
The ACDI’s Transforming Energy Access Learning Partnership is an exciting project supporting 8 African universities to develop new masters courses and programmes for the energy access sector.
We are excited to announce that the first two masters programmes have launched! Mekelle University’s (Ethiopia) MSc Sustainable Energy Engineering and the National University of Lesotho’s MSc Sustainable Energy are welcoming their new 2020/21 students. Their redeveloped Masters programmes now include new energy access course content developed with the support of the TEA-LP.
In addition to developing new curricula, the TEA-LP is also working to support students with bursaries. We’re pleased to announce the first collaboration in this regard with the Lichtenstein Institute for Sustainable Development, and the award of 3 scholarships for students studying at Mekelle University.
The TEA-LP is made possible by UK Aid, and from next year we’ll be expanding the partnership further as we invite another 4 universities to adopt a standardised energy access course. If you’d like to keep up to date with our news and activities, sign up to our newsletter.
