Postdoctoral Research Fellowship: Renewable Energy


The Energy Research Centre (ERC) located in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to work on Renewal Energy projects that are located within the ERC. This fellowship aims to provide an academic career development opportunity for a talented young academic with an interest in Renewable Energy. The current Renewable Energy projects focus mainly on gas turbines driven by renewable energy, and REMap Options for South Africa. The Fellow would be involved in writing funding proposals, data collection and analysis, and the writing of project reports and manuscripts in peer-reviewed accredited publications. As part of his/her training, the Fellow will be required to assist with limited teaching and, the co-supervision of student projects. Candidates will be expected to engage with the activities of other research groups within the ERC.
