Luleka Dlamini joined ACDI in 2016 as a DST-NRF research assistant. Luleka graduated with a BSC degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. After completing her Bsc, Luleka worked as a science teacher in Erusmas Monareng Secondary school in Vosloorus, Gauteng.
Luleka is skilled in desktop researching, data capturing, reporting and planning. Her interests lie in environmental impact assessment, management of the environmental challenges using GIS and remote sensing, hazardous-waste management and the effect of climate change on water and air quality as well as water and airborne outbreaks of disease.
At ACDI, Luleka will be assisting on the Green Skills Project which aims to identify greenskills within different agricultural commodities in the Western Cape. She will also assist on the MOOC Project (Massive Open Online Course) as well as with ACDI administration, publications, seminars and conferences. After her internship with ACDI, Luleka intends to further studies by doing her environmental science honours at UCT.
