Likho Sikutshwa joined the ACDI in 2017 as a NRF-intern. She completed a BSc Biological Sciences and BSc Hons (Botany) at Walter Sisulu University, and holds an MSc Zoology from Rhodes University. Likho has broad interests in climate change and human/environmental interactions that drive adaptation and implementation of sustainable development. Likho is keen to benefit a great deal from ACDI by acquiring skills and understanding in climate change and sustainable development that lead to adaptation mechanisms and implementation. At ACDI, Likho will be assisting in a variety of projects, such as Exploring the evidence of Water-Energy-Food Nexus Linkages to Sustainable Local Livelihoods in South Africa and also assist on ACDI’s online course MOOC. In addition, she will also be assisting with some ACDI administration, planning and conducting workshops.
