Guest speaker: Professor Dee Bradshaw

The Forum is beginning a series exploring sustainable development and what it means for society and South Africa.

Professor Dee Bradshaw will launch the discussion on Thursday by giving her view on the contribution of minerals and metals to modern life and what is needed to address the negative legacies and perceptions of the mining industry so that it can become a valued development partner for sustainable development in Africa. Professor Dee Bradshaw is the SA Research Chair in Minerals Beneficiation and the Director of the Minerals to Metals Initiative.
