Zoë is a project designer and coordinator, with expertise in climate change adaptation, climate-resilient agriculture, and the development of skills and capacity for the environmental sector. She is passionate about bringing the right people, disciplines, and organisations together to tackle complex social-environmental problems. Within ACDI, Zoë splits her time between identifying and developing new research opportunities, and undertaking research in relation to existing projects. She is currently conducting research for the GreenSkills Project.
Zoë has a Masters in Social Science from the Climate Systems Analysis Group. Her Masters research investigated commercial beekeeping and social-environmental change in the Western Cape. Prior to joining ACDI, Zoë worked in environmental and climate change consulting, with a focus on developing adaptation projects for UNEP and UNDP. She also has experience in human capacity development and communications for the environmental sector.
